This policy explains how YVELIA Global Impex LLP ("YVELIA", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit this website or send us an enquiry. We are a business-to-business exporter, and we collect only what we need to respond to trade enquiries.
1. Who we are
The data controller (or "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) is YVELIA Global Impex LLP, FF-111, Shaligaram Square, Near Vishesh Residency, S.G. Highway, Gota, Ahmedabad 382481, Gujarat, India. Contact us about privacy at info@yveliaglobal.com or +91 63545 40177.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a Request a Quote or private-label project form, we collect:
- Your name, company, work email address and, if you choose, phone/WhatsApp number and country
- Your buyer type, enquiry type and target market
- The products, volumes, formats, packaging, timeline and requirements you describe
Newsletter. If you subscribe in the website footer, we collect your email address and the date you subscribed.
If you email or call us, we keep the information you share in that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request — to keep the website secure and working. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions and protect against spam.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.
3. How we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry — preparing quotations, samples, specifications and documentation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To manage our business relationship — follow-up on your enquiry, orders and shipments. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- To send our newsletter — occasional product, sourcing and regulatory updates, only if you subscribed. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link or emailing us.
- To keep the website secure — preventing spam and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- To meet legal obligations — for example tax, export and accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Where the law requires consent (for example under India's DPDP Act), submitting an enquiry form is a clear, specific act by which you consent to us processing the details you provide for the purpose of responding to that enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
We will only send you marketing emails, such as new product updates, if you have asked for them or where the law allows it, and every such email will let you unsubscribe.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and server logs
- Supabase Inc. — secure database where enquiries and newsletter sign-ups are stored
- Resend — delivery of enquiry and newsletter notification emails to our team
- Google — the map embedded on our Contact page (see section 7)
When necessary to fulfil your request, we may share relevant details with companies that help us fulfil it — for example for sampling, testing, packing, logistics or customs. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
5. International transfers
We are based in India and serve buyers in the GCC countries, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa and elsewhere. Our service providers may store or process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the enquiry leads to a business relationship. Records relating to orders and shipments are kept for as long as tax, customs and accounting laws require. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Cookies and third-party content
This website does not set its own cookies for analytics or advertising. Products you add with Add to Inquiry are saved only in your own browser (local storage) so the list survives page changes; they are not sent to us until you submit the enquiry form, and you can clear the list at any time. Fonts are served from our own website. The Contact page embeds a Google Map; when that page loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address under Google's Privacy Policy. If you prefer, you can find our address in the page text without using the map.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data
- ask us to delete your data
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent
- receive your data in a portable format
- nominate another person to exercise your rights (India)
To exercise any right, email info@yveliaglobal.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, normally within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your data protection authority — for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), the Data Protection Board of India, the UAE Data Office or South Africa's Information Regulator.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled databases and reputable providers. Our website can add enquiries to our database but cannot read them back, and only authorised YVELIA staff can view submitted enquiries. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Children
This website is intended for business buyers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
